Health & Safety

The Meadowbrook School is committed to keeping our campus safe and our students healthy. The Meadowbrook School's Health & Safety committee meets regularly to ensure we are following best practices and guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Montgomery County Office of Public Health (OPH)

Here at Meadowbrook we:

·         Are a locked campus and require all visitors to check in at the main office

·         Conduct safety drills in the event of a fire, intruder, or other emergency event

·         Provide CPR and First Aid certification/training for staff

·         Have nurse support on-site and through Abington Township

·         Have sanitizing stations throughout the school

·         Encourage hand washing and sanitizing breaks for students throughout the day

·         Clean classrooms daily and as needed

·         Have the ability to maintain social distancing if necessary, with our cap on class size

·         Have optional indoor masking for all students, faculty, and visitors to campus as cases of Covid-19 and other illnesses rise

·         Provide outdoor learning spaces and opportunities (weather permitting)

·         Hold regularly scheduled Health & Safety Committee meetings to review and adjust our plans as guidance changes
