The Race
It’s finally happening — a race unlike any other in Meadowbrook history: a showdown to determine (at least until next year) who’s the fastest teacher at Meadowbrook.
Class of 2012 alumna and Pre-Kindergarten teacher Ms. Kamryn DeMasi will face off against Head of School Jim Pierce in an Amazing Race–style showdown across Abington, Meadowbrook, and Upper Dublin — all in the name of supporting our incredible students, the Annual Fund, and avoiding the cold, cold water of the dunk tank at Fall Fest.
Every dollar raised during The Great Meadowbrook race directly fuels the competition — changing the outcome, unlocking schoolwide rewards, and, most importantly, supporting the wonderful students of Meadowbrook.
Why Are We Racing?
We’re racing to support Meadowbrook's Annual Giving programs — the lifeblood of our school.
Each year, Annual Giving fuels the magic that makes a Meadowbrook education so special. From ice skating, field trips, and musicals to playground equipment and even portions of our community lunches, it touches nearly every corner of our students’ experience.
Every gift matters. Your support sustains the programs, traditions, and joyful experiences that define the Meadowbrook magic — and this year, your gift also comes with a playful twist.
During The Great Meadowbrook Race, your donation doesn’t just support our students — it helps decide which racer crosses the finish line first (and who ends up in the dunk tank at Fall Fest!).

Each dollar you give shapes the race determining who gains the upper hand along the way. The winner will be the first to ring Meadowbrook’s famous recess bell; the loser heads straight for the dunk tank at Fall Fest.
