Ways to Give

It takes all of us, parents, grandparents, faculty, alumni, and friends to ensure that Meadowbrook continues as the premiere elementary school in the area. There are many ways to make a gift to our school. Below are the most critical. If you have any questions, please contact Matt Paul, Director of Development.

The Meadowbrook Fund
  • Strives to narrow the gap between tuition revenue and actual cost per student.

  • Helps further the mission of Meadowbrook by enhancing academic programs and supporting talented educators.

  • Ensures a state-of-the-art technology program; unique art program, world languages for all students, and an amazing science curriculum.

  • Provides for the operation and maintenance of our 16-acre campus and 100-year old facilities.

Currently, Meadowbrook operates under a tuition-driven model, with the majority of each year's budget coming from tuition revenue. This model limits the schools' ability to grow without increasing tuition. Unacceptably high tuition makes access to the school virtually impossible for many deserving students. Over the next few years, the school's goal is to become less dependent upon tuition. The most fiscally responsible way to do this is to significantly increase the school's endowment. What makes endowment gifts important is their permanence. Through wise investment and stewardship, these gifts maintain their purchasing power year after year.

Planned giving encompasses a variety of strategies that help you provide for charities while also advancing your own personal objectives. Popular planned gifts include bequests, which allow you to retain control of your assets during your lifetime; life income gifts that pay you and your family income and then help Meadowbrook; naming Meadowbrook as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy; and gifts of real estate or other personal property.
