Part-Time Math Specialist

The Meadowbrook School is seeking a Part Time Math Specialist for our Upper School (Grades 4-6).

 Preferred candidates will have an academic background in the discipline, as well as a record of demonstrated success working with young people in education or a related field. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic professional who is able to engage students positively and possesses mastery of math-related technology skills and tools.

Day Camp Director

The Meadowbrook School is currently seeking a camp director for the upcoming 2018 summer season.  The camp director's job involves administrative duties and supervisory responsibility for staff and campers. He or she also ultimately oversees and has responsibility for all camp activities. 

Duties include: 
-Assist in the planning, organization, and facilitation of Theme Days; incorporate staff ideas, create & distribute schedules and   Program Areas.

-Plan, coordinate delivery, support staff in, and ensure quality of program activity delivery.

-Coordinate delivery, model, and ensure quality of camp activities including Theme Days, and other all-camp events.

-Participate 100% with activities; enjoy playing, and not "sit on the sidelines", being visible throughout the day, leading transition times and supervising campers.

Technology Teacher

The Meadowbrook School is currently seeking a Technology Teacher for our Preschool-6th grade students.  As a computer technology teacher, your daily tasks will depend mostly on the age and ability level of your students. Younger classrooms will focus on keyboarding and understanding basic word processing and other typical office programs, as well as Internet basics.

 Duties include:

  • Introducing basic computer, keyboard and Internet skills
  • Teaching students how to use design applications.
  • Assigning projects so that students learn to deal with real-world constraints, such as time and materials
  • Allowing students to unravel technological problems using a hands-on, trial-and-error approach
  • Encouraging creative thinking with challenging classroom projects
  • Helping students connect math, science and technological principles to everyday life

Long Term Substitute

The Meadowbrook school is seeking a Long-term substitute for our Early Education Program. Responsibilities include leading or assisting a class of approximately 12-16 children ages 3-5.

Every employee at Meadowbrook School must have a Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance and clean Criminal Background Check on file.  General knowledge of first aid and CPR is also required.  Training in First Aid and CPR is done every other year for faculty and staff to remain certified.
