Hello, Parents!

On behalf of the Parents of Meadowbrook, I welcome you to the 2008-09 school year!

You are now part of a wonderful community of parents who have chosen to provide their children with the best in elementary education. Meadowbrook gives our children the self-confidence they need to succeed, infuses them with the love of learning, and offers them opportunities not typically found in K-6 schools. In short, what you and your children experience here is unlikely to be matched anywhere else!

The Headmaster, faculty and staff work hard to provide this special environment for our children, and the parents of Meadowbrook students support the school in myriad ways beyond the tuition they pay. Parent volunteers chair fundraisers, organize room parents, write the weekly FYI newsletter, run the school store, and plan recurring annual events.

Parents’ time and financial support have enabled POM to raise significant additional funds for the school, which are used to purchase supplies for classrooms and equipment for the kitchen, to help maintain and improve the school building and grounds, and to sponsor special assemblies and learning events.

We need everyone’s help to make these events successful, so I invite each of you to participate in any way that you can: attend our monthly meetings, support our fundraisers, volunteer your time and effort! Together with the rest of the Executive Committee – Tina, Tim, Kim and Laurie – I look forward to another wonderful, successful year!
