Brock & Company, Inc. is pleased to be the new foodservice company for The Meadowbrook School starting in September. 

Brock’s menus at Meadowbrook will offer fresh and nutritious selections to the community while still offering menu items that the students like to eat. Our philosophy is to create well-balanced menu offerings along with implementing healthier methods of preparation. So yes, the occasional chicken finger and meatloaf will appear – they just might be baked or made with turkey for a better for you choice!

Chef Lisa Cotellessa will lead the team in the kitchen. With more than 15 years of culinary experience, Chef Lisa will lead the menu creation on-site with a focus on scratch-made and batch-cooked items. Chef believes strongly in environmentally responsible foodservice, and she will share her passion with the community.

A few times during the year, special “guests” will visit Meadowbrook. Brock’s dietitian, Rebecca Herrmann, RD, LDN is one such individual, and her first visit to campus was on Friday, September 13. During this visit, she spent time with the students answering their questions and showing them where to find the weekly menus located at http://www.brockcafe.com/themeadowbrookschool/.

Founded in 1927 in Philadelphia to serve factory workers, Brock is a third-generation family-owned and operated company now based in Malvern, Pennsylvania. With more than 20 years of experience working with our private school partners, Brock has taken that knowledge and created a dining program specific to the needs of The Meadowbrook School. We are confident our personalized and flexible approach to foodservice will create an enjoyable experience for the community.
