Curriculum Overview |
The curriculum at The Meadowbrook School sets high standards while providing opportunities to address individual needs. The defining principles upon which the curriculum is designed is to promote goals of accomplishment and excellence with students reaching for their own personal best. The nurturing atmosphere guides each student with a gentle hand. The curriculum for each grade has been developed thoughtfully and with depth, yet remains open to modification as determined by current needs. Rich in content and meaningful to students, the projects in subject areas are related across curriculum so that students make connections within all areas of learning. Multiple field trips and special assemblies complement the units of study within each grade. |
