"Bring A Friend To School"
Friday, February 17, 2012
"Bring a Friend to School" is an opportunity for current Meadowbrook students in Preschool through Third Grade to invite a friend to spend a day with them at Meadowbrook. This special program allows your child to share their school experience with friends they know outside of Meadowbrook.
To participate in this program:
- Invite a friend to come with you to school for a day. The friend must currently be in Preschool through Third Grade and in the same grade as the Meadowbrook student.
- Meadowbrook parents should ask the guest's parents to complete this online permission form. The form should be submitted by Friday, February 10, 2012, authorizing their child to attend Meadowbrook for the day.
- Meadowbrook students may only bring one friend to school.
- Due to insurance liabilities, most school districts will not allow guest to travel on buses with Meadowbrook students. If your child takes the bus to and from school, please arrange for alternate transportation for your child and their guest on this day.
On the day of visit:
- Guest students are encouraged to dress in comfortable clothes and sneakers.
- Visiting students can travel to and from school with their Meadowbrook friend, or can come separately and plan to meet in the school's lobby at 8:05 a.m. Guests may be picked up by their parents in the same location at 2:50 pm.
- Your guest's lunch is provided by Meadowbrook.
- Please note any of the guest's allergies or medications on the Permission Slip.
