Disney’s Jungle Book Kids ® is a “ROARING” success! |

Meadowbrook upper school students performed Disney’s Jungle Book Kids ® for family, friends, guest students from area nursery schools, our friends from Redeemer Village, and the Meadowbrook School community. On December 18, their musical talents and acting abilities shined through in a well-rehearsed and truly entertaining kids version of the Disney animated movie, “The Jungle Book.” |
Roars, hisses, monkey calls, and elephant snorts were the sounds of the day, as the sixth grade students were lead cast members, and the fourth and fifth grade students performed and sang in supporting roles as elephants and monkeys. The hilarity of the elephant march, and the jocularity of the song of the monkeys led by King Louie, “I Want to be Like You” were enormously enjoyed by the audience (and the children who performed them, as well!) |
The entire cast of fourth, fifth, and sixth graders exuded excitement and entertainment that is usually only experienced in a true theatre show. Ms. Ward, (music and performance instruction), Mrs. Katona and TAs (costumes and backdrops), Mr. Mosteller, (sound crew), Mr. Rifkin (video) and many other handy people, created an wonderful show of which Meadowbrook can be proud. |
