Overview
The Extended Day program is for the benefit of the students and the convenience of the parents. The program provides:
- Meadowbrook families with the option to have their children stay at school from dismissal until as late as 6 p.m. instead of transporting them to a daycare
- A safe and nurturing "neighborhood" environment during which multi-age children are presented with enriching activity choices.
Program Goals
- Plan and present thematic activities that are multi-age appropriate.
- Provide enriching choices for children.
- Promote Extended Day as an extension of the values expected of all Meadowbrook students.
- Provide a safe environment supervised and taught by trained individuals.
