As a top private elementary school in
the Philadelphia area, Meadowbrook takes its commitment to the community
and its students seriously. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure a
Meadowbrook education is affordable to all working families and accessible to
the most deserving students. It is with this guiding principle that Meadowbrook
is committed to making our tuition the most competitive in the market. So how
do we do it?
- We employ a highly motivated and committed staff dedicated to the schools mission. Our faculty and staff often make sacrifices in order to help keep tuitions affordable for our families.
- We
only invest in your child’s education. As a private elementary school we don’t believe it’s
prudent to invest heavily in sports facilities or huge campus remodeling
projects. While these are all important components of a middle school and upper
school program, they do not have the same importance in elementary school.
Rather we choose to invest our money and efforts into academic endeavors, which
benefit the growth of the elementary student. The strength of our graduates and
their acceptance into the middle schools of their choice is validation of the
return on our investment.
- For over 90 years, Meadowbrook has been fortunate to have a motivated and loyal community of parents, faculty, staff, and alumni committed to the schools vision through charitable gifts. In 2010, we reached an unprecedented milestone in the schools history. 100% of our faculty, families, and board members contributed to the schools annual fund. This demonstrates an unmatched dedication by the community to keep access to The Meadowbrook School affordable.
Even though Meadowbrook offers an
unparalleled value, we understand that tuition may still represent an enormous
burden to working families. In fact, the average private school tuition in the Middle Atlantic
states has risen 68% over the last decade. As a result we have consistently offered
a generous financial aid program for families who qualify. We’ve taken great
care to not devalue our financial aid program in these turbulent financial
times because we believe recognizing both ethnic and socio-economic diversity
is pivotal to the development of our students. The generous need based scholarships granted by
our financial aid program have supplied the financial resources for 10 of our
last 12 Headmaster Cup winners. This is proof that our investment in students
and their families is returned in the growth of our community.
Tuition Savings When Choosing The Meadowbrook School
