Tuition Assistance

The Meadowbrook School is dedicated to a diverse student body that is reflective of the community we live in.  We believe a varied cultural and socioeconomic student community enhances the learning environment for all of our students.

As you search for the right environment for your child, you may find that financing an independent school education represents a challenge for your family. We urge you not to let the cost of tuition stand in the way of considering The Meadowbrook School. We are committed to enrolling a socioeconomically diverse community of families, and we work individually with each family to help make our school an affordable option.  The National Association for Independent Schools (NAIS) provides helpful that discusses strategies for affording an independent school education

Tuition assistance is awarded annually by the Financial Aid Committee.  The amount of assistance provided is determined by the family's demonstrated financial need and the availability of tuition assistance funds.  Families must reapply for aid each year. Although financial assistance awarded for one year does not automatically guarantee continued aid, tuition assistance will normally be renewed if a family's economic situation continues to indicate financial need.

Meadowbrook uses a third-party program, School and Student Services (SSS) located in Princeton, New Jersey to help us assess a family’s ability to pay school costs.  SSS helps us make objective and equitable tuition assistance decisions.  Meadowbrook follows best practice guidelines established by the National Association of Independent Schools for providing tuition assistance and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, or national origin.  The School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) service can be accessed here

In addition to financial aid, Meadowbrook offers three different payment plans to help families spread tuition out over several months: 1-Pay (a single annual payment on July 1), 2-Pay (60% paid on July 1, and 40% paid on November 1, and 10-Pay (ten equal monthly payment from July 1 through April 1).
