Frequently Asked Questions

1. When is the application deadline?

At Meadowbrook, we practice rolling admissions, which means there is no hard deadline.  However, it is best to apply before March of the year you would like to enroll your child.

2.  What are you looking for in an applicant family?

We value all types of learners at Meadowbrook, and we seek to enroll children who exemplify "The Meadowbrook Way".  This applies to a student who is enthusiastic about learning and approaching problems with creativity and resilience, while exemplifying confidence and integrity.

The Meadowbrook School admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin, sexual orientation or other legally protected status to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin, sexual orientation or other legally protected status in its hiring or in the administration of its educational policies and programs, admissions policies, financial aid programs or other school-administered programs.

3.  Do you offer financial aid?

Yes.  You can apply for financial assistance here.  After you complete your application, a member of the Financial Committee will be in touch with you about what tuition would look like for your family.

4. What transportation do you offer?

Meadowbrook is committed to supporting the transportation needs of our student community.  Many of our students take advantage of the bus service provided by the school district in their communities.  If you live within 10 miles of the Meadowbrook campus, you are eligible for bus transportation provided by the school district where you live.  Below is a list of school districts that provide free transportation to Meadowbrook.  Please contact the transportation department of your local school district for details on pick-up/drop off locations and schedules in your area.

6.  How can parents get involved at Meadowbrook?

Parents can get involved in a number of ways.  You can sign up as a room parent, or join the Parents of Meadowbrook (POM).  POM is a parent body that acts as a liaison between Meadowbrook and the parent population.  POM raises funds for the school, organizes activities for our children, keeps parents informed about upcoming events and activities, and coordinates room parents.  For more information, please visit their page on our website.
