After-School Enrichment Programs
The Meadowbrook School provides several opportunities throughout the school year for our children to enhance their learning experience. Visit this page often as more opportunities are made available.
After School enrichment programs include:
Beginners, advanced players or anywhere in between, our experienced Chess Coach, Leteff Street, will instruct our students on the strategies of the game.
Learn motions, jumps and stunts to incorporate into cheers and chants! Help cheer Meadowbrook onto victory. Open to students in PreK through 3rd grade.
Improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses and partner and group poses.
The Meadowbrook Singers is a vocal ensemble which practices after school on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. They perform for the Winter Concert and the Spring Concert and give concerts to the community. They have performed the national anthem for the Harlem Globetrotters, the Camden Riversharks, the Reading Phillies and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Fencing is both a mental and physical sport, often referred to as "physical chess". It improves concentration and teaches discipline, precision, endurance, speed and strategic thinking. Fencers are highly trained, all-around athletes. Open to students in grades one through sixth.
Voice Lessons are available for students in grades 2nd through 6th.
