After-School Enrichment Programs
The Meadowbrook School provides several opportunities throughout the school year for our children to enhance their learning experience. Visit this page often as more opportunities are made available.
After School enrichment programs include:
Beginners, advanced players or anywhere in between, our experienced Chess Coach, Robert Lakata, will instruct our students on the strategies of the game.
The Meadowbrook Singers is a vocal ensemble which practices after school on Mondays and Thursdays. They perform for the Winter Concert and the Spring Concert and perform concerts for the community. They have performed the national anthem for the Harlem Globetrotters, the Camden Riversharks, the Reading Phillies and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Voice Lessons are available for students in grades 2nd through 6th.
Musical Instrument Lessons
Guitar, Piano and Wind Instrument Lessons are available after school.
Don Clark of Action Karate, Huntingdon Valley leads class once per week.
Tennis is a great sport for developing a complete athlete. It improves agility, speed, stamina, eye hand coordination, reaction time, strength, core conditioning, mental toughness, footwork, decision making, and focus all in a non-contact setting.
Spanish Club is open to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade and meets once per week.
French Club is open to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade and meets once per week.
Soccer shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development. The program is available to all children in Preschool through 6th grade.
American Sign Language Club teaches students the basics of signing. The program is available to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Ceramics Club is open to students in 1st through 6th grade.
Makerspace Club is open to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
