Activities, Committees, and Events

Linking home and school through a strong volunteer network is an outstanding way to bolster our Meadowbrook community. Through volunteerism, we build mutually supportive relationships between parents, students, teachers, staff and our community at large.

Activities and committees involving parents are briefly described below.

BOOK FAIR

Held in September each year to raise funds for the library and other school causes. Children select and purchase from a wide list of titles.

WRAPPING PAPER SALE

At holiday time, we all need an inventory of seasonal wrapping paper. We offer a terrific variety of themes and designs at competitive prices.

SECRET SHOP

Once a year, we open a shop full of presents that our children come to and purchase for their favorite relatives and friends. All gifts are economically priced and are both functional and adorable. This event, the whole school looks forward to.

PLANT SALE

Beautiful green and flowering plants are sold in the spring. They range in size from large to small and represent a wide variety of tastes.

DECORATING COMMITTEE

This committee places multicultural decorations around the Meadowbrook campus.

USED BOOK SALE

All students are invited to buy and sell used books. Proceeds benefit the school library.
